Lung infection covid is present
My aunt is suffering with covid, her lungs are infected and she's under ventilator in a private hospital now. She doesn't have any other underlying conditions like sugar or high blood pressure but she has thyroid. I attached the report of HRCT scan. The doctors said that we'll keep her under ventilator for 5 days. Tell me if she's gonna be alright or not, how critical is this and is it curable or not.

Covid patient on ventilatory support means critical situation. What is ct scan scoring, what are other reports like IL6, d-dimer, cbc, ferritin levels, LDH . Drugs like Toclizumab, Ramadisvir are given at this critical stage- stage of cytokine storm! Even convalescent plasma therapy can be given. Patient can come out with this aggressive treatment. He must already be getting LMWH and prophylactic antibiotics fr any secondary bacterial infection.
