Both Neurosurgeon (specialising in spine) and Orthopaedic Surgeon ( specialising in spine) are trained in doing spine surgeries including complex lumbar canal stenosis. Lumbar stenosis if mild to moderate can be treated non operatively. Only in selected moderate and severe cases surgical treatment is required.
Next Steps
Consult any orthopaedic surgeon to discuss regarding treatment if non operative vs operative treatment is needed in your case.
