I have suffer from slip disc.
Diffuse dise bulge with postero central disc herniation seen at L5-S1 intervertebral disc level.
I have done surgery in month of may ( approx 10 months ago) but still not gate complete satisfaction.
Still pain in calf muscle and hip .

Avoid bending in front.
Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall.
Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

In my opinion u need to go for physiotherapy sessions along with exs...u also need to cross check whether ur surgery has been successfully done or not as in many cases post operative recovery is slow and needs proper strengthening and stretching exs...with core stabilization exs... so u need to consult a physiotherapist who can guide u with the proper exs regime
Hi, Low back issues due to Failed back surgery are increasing, the persisting pain may be due to muscle imbalance and nerve irritation
