HBA1C is a record of the last 3 months average blood sugar. If you are diabetic only then it will show high. Your recent medicines will not cause high sugar levels. But high sugar levels can be the reason your pain isn't completely gone. Get your blood sugar levels under control by consulting a diabetes specialist or any physician. Also make sure you are not low in vitamins d and b12. If that's the case your pain will persist. Get injectable supplement for vitamins and your pain will go.
Next Steps
consult diabetes specialist and or ortho if required
Health Tips
get vitamin d and b12 injections

Hello You have two issues one is your back and the other issue is of your blood sugar. For your lower back you can continue doing the physiotherapy exercises and if you have an x-ray could you please provide it. Does your back pain still radiate to your thighs and hip area? Secondly your blood sugar is way on the higher side for your age.I suggest you consult a physician and take their advice.
Next Steps
Kindly consult for further advice and evaluation.
