Lower back pain
My father is experiencing lower back pain for past few days. Especially in the right side of the lower back. We have applied warm compress as well but still the pain persists. Could you please suggest how to reduce the pain.

70 year old patient having lower back since few days, need to know whether he has any co morbidity like diabetes or hypertensive or thyroidism. Is there any trauma history or history of fall You can give him 1. Tab Thiospas-A one tab two times daily after food 2. Tab Pantocid-DSR one tab once daily before breakfast 3. Tab Cap Lumia 60k one tab once weekly with glassful milk 4. Tab Calcium one tab two times daily after food

At present give him a 1)TAB-DOLO 650- (0-1-0) x3days 2)TAB.PAN 40- Before food-(0-1-0) X3days 3)apply Iodex gel on his back and give him some cold pack fermentation.

The pain is due to muscle spasm caused by overuse or improper posture.
Next Steps
Use Lumbosacral brace for back support. Apply warm water bags and pain relief spray. Do not bend forward or lift heavy weights. Get a video consult for prescription and further instructions.

Take bed rest Use western toilet No bending No sitting on ground Avoid any weights lifting from ground. Sos painkillers Gel ointment twice for pain Fomentation
