The main reason of this pain is poor posture, prolonged period of sitting activities, weak muscles, no stretching exercises or any accident. Medicines will give you temporary relief. If the exacerbating factor is not identified then it can continue for long, only pain killers won't help coz they give symptomatic relief only(it masks pain for sometime)
