Ur low back pain can be Bez of poor posture, muscle spasm or strain, nerve compression, disc prolapse. U r very young so Ur spinal disc has more collagen fibres..at young age it's high risk of spinal nerve compression and disc prolapse. Once disc protrudes it can not go back. Thus Ur current goal is to reduce Ur low back pain, leg numbness and reduce or prevent disc bulge. I would suggest you to 1. Icing around Ur lower back n gluteal (buttock) muscles. 2. Keep pillow underneath your knees while sleeping Ur lying on Ur back 3. Do some deep breathing exercises 4. Avoid stretching exercises for now 5. If u hv a foam roller release Ur side of the legs n front of Ur thigh muscles 6. Start very basic core stabilization exercises
Next Steps

Low back pain could be due to different reasons. It could be back muscle strain or disc lesion. I would like to ask you few questions like do you have any history of back injury or back pain? Bad posture during sitting also aggrevates back pain.
Next Steps
You should give hot water fomentation to the affected site twice a day. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do back stretching and strengthening exercises twice a day. You should correct your sitting posture. Avoid bending activities. Take breaks in between your work.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physician or Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment.

Considering the acute nature of your lower back pain although we need proper investigations but still one thing that will surely help you is an ice pack. So keep it at your lower back region for around 7.5 minutes thrice a day. Along with little or no movement of the back for just one day. As the pain subsides, you can start with a graded progressive exercise routine that will ultimately help to stabilize the musculature of your lower back and will prevent any future recurrence or the pain and numbness.
Health Tips
You can contact us online on the Practo app to get a customized tailor made exercise routine for stabilization of your back.

As you are telling about leg numbness it's better to take a MRI before deciding further things... Because have to see if there is any Disc problem any compression by the disc to which level it is, Any bony problem or May be it's is only Muscular..We can't take any further step before differentiate between them..
Next Steps
Do Hot water fermentation. Take Ergonomic care in Sleeping, sitting and standing.. Avoid Bending activities and lifting heavy objects.. If you are into sports do good warm-up and Stretches and cool down after Exercise..
