Your pain, the way you describe it points to nerve compression leading to sciatica. It is still early days to worry too much avout. 80% of disc prolapse get better within 3 months. Take painkillers, use hot fomentation, keep mobile and monitor your symptoms. It will gradually get better. If your pain worsens or you get numbness or muscle weakness then seek medical attention. Hope this helps. Dr Vinu Raj Consultant Spine Surgeon MBBS MRCS FRCS(Trauma&Orth)

Detailed history and assessment is required to address what structure is giving you this pain. Sciatica is a very general term, its not a diagnosis.
Next Steps
You can try Hot pack application twice a day since the intensity of pain is low. If it is not settling with that see a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Health Tips
Avoid lifting any heavy weights or sitting for long (especially on low seats)  till you get a green signal from your therapist.
