Low thyroid
Hello my father is 68 year old and recently he has done their blood test and in the report his T4 total is 2.90 hence the normal range in between 5.1 to 12.45 and he is currently on medications for depression from last year ..so should he take the medicine for low thyroid ?

Old age , we can wait until he is symptomatic or till his tsh levels are very high above the cut off. Kindly mention the durgs taken for depression
