Hi Low Platelet count can have some causes , Tropical fevers like Dengue, Malaria could cause Thrombocytopenia. Does you brother has any fever? , joint pain, myalgia ?. If he have any of that check for Dengue and malaria. And other reports shows his cholesterol profile is abnormal- grossly. So He needs treatment for that. Evaluate Thrombocytopenia if its decresing further with Peripheral Smear and manual Platelet counts. And His SGPT is normal and it should be elevated for than 4 folds to say its increased.
