My father is having a very low platelet count 63. But dengue test is negative. Few months back it was 90. Before that it was above 100. He has frequent urination during night time and a general weakness feeling. Also he has prostate issues as a medical history, slight enlargement but psa was negative few months back. What should I do.

Based on the information provided, your father's platelet count is notably low (63 x 10^9/L), which could be indicative of various underlying conditions. The fact that the dengue test is negative is helpful but doesn't rule out other causes like bone marrow disorders, immune-mediated conditions, or liver disease, among others.
The decrease in platelet count from over 100 to the current level within a few months is concerning and warrants further evaluation. His symptoms of frequent urination and general weakness should also be explored, as these could be linked to either the low platelet count or his prostate issue.
Given the additional prostate concerns (despite a negative PSA), further diagnostic tests, such as bone marrow biopsy, ultrasound, or imaging, might be necessary to get a clear understanding of his health status.
I recommend closely monitoring his blood parameters and consulting a hematologist to explore the cause of the declining platelet count. It’s also important to address his other symptoms, which could be part of a broader systemic issue.
