It is possible that psychiatric medicine affect libido. It is reversible in most cases if the duration of treatment isn't very long. Consult a doctor /your psychiatrist regarding use of alternative drug option. Also consider therapy. Finding out the root cause of anxiety will help navigating situation like this..

Low libido is a recognized side effect of Nexito (escitalopram) and can also be influenced by anxiety itself In most patients, sexual desire gradually improves after the medication is reduced or discontinued under the guidance of their psychiatrist. Permanent loss of libido is uncommon
Next Steps
Since your anxiety symptoms and treatment need to be balanced with quality of life,  discuss this concern with your psychiatrist.
Health Tips
Dose adjustment, switching to an alternative medication, or adding supportive treatment may help if the symptom is significantly affecting you. Do not stop the medicine on your own.

Firstly, you definitely have good observation skill and are sensitive to your body.  To begin with you had Anxiety issues for which you are taking Tab Nexito 5mg. Now the pertinent observation here is the stress that you are going through because of the loss of libido. It's catch situation. SSRI( Nexito) is know to cause decreased libido. But it's not permanent. Once you decrease or stop medication. Libido will gradually return. So don't take stress about it. But- donot stop Nexito abruptly without proper medical advice.
Next Steps
So I will address the next steps keeping prevention in mind: 1. Address your anxiety issue first reasons, outcome of stress on body. Get a proper consultation ( not a quick fix). treat medically as well as with therapy. why would you do that? it will help you develop your coping mechanisms and the need for medication may be removed or decreased. 2. Assess for how long will you need to be on Nexito.

Nexita has a habit of causing loss of libido. But it can be counteracted by Bupron. If after 7 days, bupron does not work then change Nexito.
Next Steps
Bupron 100 mg tablet, once daily, in the morning, for 7 days.

Kindly do connect and consult with me for better treatment plan and advice on your case via PRACTO app you are experiencing a very common side effect of SSRI medications (Escitalopram), which temporarily alter serotonin levels and can suppress sexual drive. However, for a proper diagnosis and to reassure you that this issue is absolutely not permanently lost, we need to clinically review your complete recovery plan rather than suddenly stopping your medication on your own
Next Steps
To safely evaluate your response to Nexito 5MG, discuss medical alternatives like dosage adjustment or adding a supportive treatment to restore your drive, please book a direct consultation session via my Practo profile."

Low libido is a known side effect of Nexito and many people experience a decrease in sexual desire after starting the medication. In most cases, libido improves after the medication is reduced or stopped under a doctor's supervision. For many people, sexual function returns to normal within weeks to a few months after discontinuation.
