Low grade fever and vomiting
Dear Sir, My 7 months old baby boy is suffering from low grade fever (varies between 99.6 to 100.3F) for the for the last 10 days.. He is also vomiting after evey feeding and a lot of coughs are also coming out when vomiting. We have done all the required blood tests and all the reports are normal. We have given him an antibiotic for viral fever and some other medicines for vomit. However, condition is same and it is not improving.. Please suggest.

I would advice you to do blood culture, chest xray, urine routine and blood culture and show me the report or a local pediatrician. Take care! Let me know what all medicines were given to your chils

He might need to be tested again for sepsis profile with blood culture and if no reason is found screening for metabolic disease should be done. There might be a chance of infection with atypical organisms or that proper dosing of antibiotics wasnt administered.
