Hello,
My 6 year old daughter is having low grade fever since the last 4, 5 days (99 and sometimes 100 degrees). She's also having a very bad cough and nausea (no vomitting) since last night. No cold (sneezing or dripping nose) as such.
Tests for typhoid, dengue, malaria are clear. CBC panel is also clear.
Dr has suggested viral infection and increased duration of dosage to 3 more days (total 7 days since the onset).
Please help me understand if this could be viral or anything else.
Child has no appetite and is coughing very badly.
Thank you.
