T. Gabapin 100 mg once a day alongwith T. Zerodol P whenever there is severe pain should help. This is a temporary solution. A detailed consultation with a physician is advised.

Most people feel better within a few days using simple painkillers like paracetamol, and pregabalin/gabapentin if you have nerve pain. After the intense pain settles, begin physiotherapy and avoid heavy weight lifting. But if you suddenly get leg weakness do urgent MRI.
Health Tips
avoid heavy weight lifting Lay on your back

Usually the pains settle after a few days with simple pain relief like Paracetamol and if needed Pregabalin 75mg twice a day. The most important thing is recovery. So once the severe pains have settled, see a Physiotherapist for an exercise program. Keep active. Swimming is very very good in the recovery process. Most people manage this very common condition and don’t need any surgery. If at any point you develop sudden loss of strength in your legs and or unable to control your motion or unable to pass urine, you Must attend your local hospital for a MRI scan of limbo-sacral area. All the best. J G S R (online) clinic

For now, do complete rest in supine position,  use hard bed, avoid bending or sideward movement of back, sit with back straight and well supported.
