Based on what you described, your symptoms do not by themselves indicate HIV. Mouth ulcers, headache, neck pain, fatigue, heavy eyes and loose stools are nonspecific and can occur with many common conditions. HIV cannot be diagnosed from symptoms; testing is the way to know.

Your completely protected encounter with the sex worker, where the condom remained intact, carries very low HIV risk. Your friendâs current illness also does not indicate that she has HIV.
