There are various options available like metal braces , ceramic braces , lingual braces(which are fixed on the inside surface, the one facing your tongue) or Invisalign (latest treatment in which Patient doesn’t wear braces but almost invisible trays).. The metal braces being the cheapest and Invisalign being the costliest. Metal braces are usually done in about 28 to 32 k , ceramic in about 40 to 45 k again depending on the severity of malalignment , crowding, protrusion etc. Consult an orthodontist who will be able to guide you properly. Treatment time is usually around 1.5-2 years on an average.

Health Tips
Treatment time is less in young patients as compared to middle aged patients. So don’t wait for too long to get braces fixed.

Braces treatment can be done at any age although the only difference is that the bone density increases with age and hence the treatment duration becomes slightly longer. Roughly speaking it will take one and a half to two years for treatment completion in your case, and this is also a tentative suggestion without having a look at the level of malocclusion that you are having. Consult an orthodontist for complete case analysis and treatment planning so that all your queries are solved. Regards.
