Long life health after pregnancy
My wife is undergoing second pregnancy and due to short cervix issue doctor prescribed for progesterone injection once in a week, progesterone medicine daily one dose, duvadilan till 28th week and slight border glucose level came in report so added glycomet 500 three time a day.. so my concern is that taking this many medicine will surely help in positive pregnancy but what about my wife health in future run... how many year it will take for her to regain it back to her normal strength..
Requesting you anyone please provide me the clear picture on this so that I can take any extra care of her..
Giving birth was a blessing for a women but due to these things happening no women wants to go for second pregnancy and some even for first also...

Don't be so stressed .
It's ok , she has complications now but things wil settle after delivery .
She needs good diet , rest n proper medical care now .
After delivery, sugar needs to be monitored n in most cases sugars get normal eventually.

Slightly high sugar levels are common in pregnancy . It will come to normal after delivery.Having said that I have to add
Your wife is predisposed to diabetes in later life. Pregnancy is a test for beta cell of pancreas . If they are insufficient to cope for increased insulin demands of pregnancy they are 50 percent chance to fail in later life.

Pregnancy does not harm Beta cells it only tests them . So pregnancy forewarns us and not puts us at any increased risk .
