Liver and HbA1C
Hello Doctors, Last year in oct 22, that is 6 months ago I had done full body check up. Where in my reports, blood sugar was fine, and HbA1C was proper like 5.6(value). But regards to my liver, it showed as fatty grade 1, with no details more about it in report. Now yesterday again I did my lipid profile, LFT and HbA1C. And in the report, it showed triglyceride as 201 and LFT normal. and HNA1C as 6.5 ( saw in Google it showed as diabetic range of 6.5 and above. I know i am very much found of sweets, maybe that is the reason. But in my family, no one has any history of diabetic. Can doctors please help here. Is it something to worry? Or is any medication needed for 6.5 (value)

Since your HbA1c is 6.5 , you have to be cautious of what you eat. You need to stop eating sugar and sweets . Reduce the amount of rice if you eat, include roti and fibre rich foods. Avoid eating potato and sweet fruits. Do 30 minutes of brisk walking every day , at least 5 days of a week. At this point you don’t need any medication for diabetes. Hope it helps

Madam, you are 63 years old. It is time so many age related lifestyle diseases will make their appearance. You didn't have diabetes 6 months ago, now you are prediabetic. That's why we want you to get your health checkup done every year. Same is the case with lipid profile. Fatty liver is a USG diagnosis.

Your triglycerides are raised for which you need to avoid oily items and do regular light exercise and walking . For HbA1c you need not take any medicine at present. Only by diet restrictions and  light exercises you can can control the sugar level. Don't worry you will be fine.
