Fordyce spots are nothing more than tiny, harmless oil glands that are more visible on certain areas like your lips or genitals. They’re normal—and yes, most people have them. They’re not infections, not contagious, and don’t pose any health risk. It's just biology wearing its everyday outfit.”
Next Steps
No medical treatment required since they’re benign and asymptomatic If cosmetic issue/persistent discomfort: use 0.25% topical retinoid for atleast 6-12 weeks if still persistent consult a dermatologist for laser therapy, electro surgery, cryotherapy, micro punch excision
Health Tips
Monitor for changes in size, color, or symptoms. Prompt re-evaluation if features change or symptoms develop.
