Thank you for your question. Reduced menstrual flow (only 1–2 days, with decreased quantity) is a sign that your body’s hormonal balance and uterine health need attention. Many women ignore this early warning sign, but it is important to understand WHY this happens so we can treat it safely and naturally. Why Period Flow Reduces There are several possible causes of scanty or short-duration periods Hormonal Imbalance Low estrogen Thyroid dysfunction Stress-induced hormonal fluctuation PCOD tendencies When hormones fluctuate, the endometrium does not build properly resulting in very little bleeding. Stress, Lack of Sleep, Emotional Suppression Stress directly affects the hypothalamus ,pituitary ,ovarian axis, leading to lighter or delayed bleeding. Nutritional Deficiencies Low Hb, Vitamin D deficiency, weight loss, crash diets, or less appetite can reduce period flow. History of Infections or Pelvic Congestion Sometimes chronic silent inflammation in the pelvis or cervix reduces the endometrial lining. Birth control pills / emergency pills / excessive painkillers These may temporarily disturb the cycle How Homoeopathy Helps Homoeopathy works beautifully in such cases because: It balances your hormones naturally Corrects the endometrial lining formation Regulates the cycle (duration, flow, and pain) Also improves associated symptoms like fatigue, mood swings, acne, hair fall etc The correct remedy depends on: Your body type Emotional state Stress level Sleep quality Appetite / cravings Thyroid profile PCOD features (if any) Past menstrual history Any recent weight changes Pain, clotting, discharge, etc. Without understanding your complete case, giving a single medicine may not help long-term and may even suppress the cycle. What You Can Do Right Now A proper consultation is recommended so I can assess: Thyroid profile Hormonal pattern Stress impact Uterine health Overall constitution Once the exact cause is identified, we start a personalised treatment plan. If you wish, you can take either an online or in-clinic consultation with me. Many young women with reduced flow have recovered beautifully within a few months of constitutional homeopathic treatment. You may also check my Google reviews to see similar patient experiences. Hai, The complaints of scanty flow of short duration is HYPOMENORRHEA. Occasional occurance of this pattern is normal, mostly due to stress and hormonal fluctuations. If this menstrual history is repeating it may due to, Polycystic ovarian Syndrome( PCOS), Thyroid disease, issues related to uterine lining and hormonal imbalances. In my practice, anemia is very less probable cause. According to your age mostly it will be due to PCOS or hormonal imbalances. Homoeopathy has great  scope in this condition. Homoeopathy is the best option without causing further hormonal imbalances alike allopathic medications. Detailed case taking is needed to understand the cause to personalise the treatment, diet and exercises.
Next Steps
You can easily take an online consultation now or book video consultation for further treatment guidance.
