Left side back pain from hip to knee
I have pain in only left side leg from hip to knee. Pain become very severe when I am doing some work in standing position or bending for any work but pain is only left side. It looks like that some vein is shrinking.

Hi with the given history you are probably  having a sciatica due to lumbar disc prolapse which would be treated by Taking complete bed rest for 2 days Followed by Physio short wave diathermy to lumbar spine for a week along with T. Thiorelief 1-0-1 T. CYRAD 1-0-1( before food) T. MEPR 0-0-1 all 3 for a week n if pain persists beyond a week kindly review with MRI of lumbar spine Regards Dr.Praveen

This pain may be due to nerve root compression involving the left side.. It may be due to local inflammation around nerve root or disc prolapse at the level of spinal cord..
Next Steps
You should take complete bed rest for now. Start with analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet,  take calcium, vitamin b12and vitamin d supplement, apply analgesic ointment locally. Also you can start with Physiotherapy. If not relieved, you may require MRI Lumbar Spine

Avoid heavy work,  avoid sitting down, avoid Indian toilet,  avoid forward bending,  avoid stair climbing and descending..
