Left chest discomfort and...
Hi Doctor, I'm a 20-year-old male. For the past 2 hours I've had difficulty burping with a dull ache on the left side of my chest. I also have pain in my left shoulder/upper arm. I don't have shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, dizziness, or jaw pain. Could this be trapped gas or acid reflux, or should I go to the ER to rule out a heart problem? I'm attaching a photo showing the painful area marked in red.

At your age its unlikely to have heart attack. But I have seen some cases of massive heart attack in young age, as young as a 4 year old and many in 19 years of age as well. because in India people with undiagnosed high LDL, Lipoprotein A and homocysteine levels are increasing. so better get yourself evaluated.
