Late periods
I had unprotected intercourse last month, trying for pregnancy.but I got my periods this month and it was 8 days late .This is the first time it's been that late.i usually get my periods 2 days earlier. What can be the issue . Will it effect in getting pregnant

It’s doesn’t effect ur pregnancy once in a while it’s common to have delay in periods due to many stress factors.
Next Steps
Once get a scan done to know wheather u have PCOD or any other issues

Sometimes periods might get delayed due to some changes in cycle. Don't worry it will not affect as such. Get some basic investigations done like thyorid profile, prolactin levels, USG, serum AMH levels

You need investigations to find out the reason Delay of more than 7 days is not  normal
