The women who have IUI are not prohibited from having natural intercourse. So it is quite possible that the pregnancy which you are referring to as a delayed conception may actually be the result of a natural sexual intercourse and not because of the sperm introduced during IUI. IUI sperm will survive only for 4-5 days. So if a pregnancy is there after 17 days of IUI it may not be due to IUI.

During iui second half of the cycle are given progesterone support, on whichever day they suggested you to take and upt, post that if you stop the support youll get your cycle. Even after stopping the medicine you dont get your period, repeat urine pregnancy test after 1 week of delayed periods
