Laser hair removal is actually hair reduction not permanent removal... after 6-8 sittings hair growth will be significantly low nearly negligible...u will need 1 touch up sitting yearly thereafter.

Cost of laser hair reduction depends on package, technology, expertise and locality.
In metro cities, Rates are high compared to other urban cities
-Laser hair reduction and NOT REMOVAL is point to be noted, there would be significant decrease in growth, density and thickness of hair depending on factors like hereditary, hormonal, Underlying skin condition etc so one should NOT expect any permanent REMOVAL.
PRECAUTIONS
-Priming of skin is done by many doctors and sun protection is one of the important part of priming and thats one of the important precaution
- You cannot undergo threading, waxing or plucking ideally SHAVING IS FINE!!
- White hair would not respond to diode laser so for that one should go for electrolysis
- On an average 6-8 sessions are required and there would be only reduction and not removal

Laser hair reduction is quite useful in both men and women as mentioned it's a reduction and not removal meaning that some amount of hair might remain post treatment which are not visible so I need not take further sessions for the same
