Kneecap Pain - Diagnosis
Sustained a knee injury a few days back. Initially tried to walk it off, though the pain didn't reduce. X-ray was done later on. Kindly provide the injury diagnosis.

That is a fracture of your patella ( knee cap bone).

X ray shows fracture of the lower pole of patella. A plaster cast fo 4 to 6 wks.  should be adequate.

Seems like undisplaced fracture of the kneecap bone. However final diagnosis can be made after clinical exam and investigation.

You need to go for to an orthopedic doctor for a checkup to determine whether or not you need surgery for the fracture of patella Till then,  don't walk around or try to walk it off.

There is a fracture of patella Need to get examined to decide whether it can be managed with plaster or surgery is required As per x-ray seems like plaster would suffice
