I met with an accident 4 weeks back and my knee is stiff right now. I am not able to bend it more than 80 degrees. Doctor has suggested atleast 100 degrees before I can go for surgery. Is it necessary to have sufficient knee flexion before surgery. My ligament tear is restricting my movement. I am currently going for physiotherapy daily. Is it necessary to be able to sufficiently bend my knee before surgery happens?

Without sufficient movements at your knee
Surgery is useless
Its already 4 weeks so re-evaluate with orthopeadician(sports medicine specialist), reason for stifness and treatment accordingly
