I had ACL tear months back after few months of medications and excercise it is normal right now,no issues while walking and playing any sport but, if i go for hike or trek more. I feel pain in the same knee. Is this normal or should i go for MRI again or should i go for surgery??
Please suggest me.

that pain is due to the patella malalignment at the patellofemoral joint. It is happening because the quadriceps muscle is feeling overused while undertaking the trek. The ACL is functioning well, and a repeat MRI will always show a torn ACL. Do a skyline view of the knee. Regularly train your muscle for trek or hike.
