It is possible that you have developed knee osteoarthritis, which is a common condition that affects the knee joint. This condition can cause pain, stiffness, and difficulty with movements such as climbing stairs. It is important to consult an orthopedic specialist for proper diagnosis and management. Treatment options may include exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knee, weight management, medications to relieve pain and inflammation, and in some cases, surgery. It is also important to avoid high impact activities that can further damage the joint.
