Knee pain, she's a kidney doner
My mother is having pain in knees. Can't walk properly from 2 months. Xray showed that Greece in their knees is reducing. She can't take pain killers because she has donated her kidney 30 years back. Not sure that allows her the surgery for knee replacement. Please suggest

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your mother in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back & lower limbs. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my you tube channel Dr NC Gupta 'Yoga Simplified' &  'me and my yoga' IT IS FREE. --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. Hi Long duration of pain medication use may affect the kidneys…..but taking the pain medicine for short duration is not harmful… Moreover it depends upon the state of the knee joint where only remedy is surgery as there are different other ways apart from surgery to treat the condition like regenerative therapy has picked up pace now a days
Next Steps
Take a X-ray of bilateral knee joint in standing view and see a orthopedics or Me thru PRACTO

Better to meet and discuss. It requires team management from orthopaedic surgeon, anaesthetist and nephrologist. Delay would only make her bed ridden in due course of time which isn't recommended. So, I would suggest you to visit the clinic. Thanks.
