Knee Pain, inflamation
Joined gym on feb 2. since last 2 weeks having severe pain in both knees, last few days i noticed inflammation and its not getting better. Been doing only upper body workouts since pain started. Now stopped working out altogether since day before yesterday. Consulted ortho and took blood test, xray. Was told its nothing major just need to be careful and avoid certain exercises. Taking rosehip tabs, knee strengthening exercises, balm, hot water bag. But the situation is not any better. Thinking of taking a second openion. What do i do?

Dear client we all have a level if muscle tone, but when doing gym we increase tone so that could cause fascial stiffness resulting into pain. Plz take steam bath after gym and make habit of doing excs on particular group in alt days or so.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area

Hi... I presume the knee pain. Could be due to faulty form of the exercises..you do.. If squats performed wrongly results in fro the knee pain... I suggest you to initially do glute strengthening exercises like clamshell..bridging..good morning.exercises...etc. I strongly suggest you ice up your knee frequently atleast once in every 2 hours.stretch your calf...front thigh muscles Hamstrings....gluteus.. Revert back incase I need any further clarification....
