Knee joint pain/discomfort
I run regularly 3 kms on a treadmill regularly on a uncomfortably fast speed. Recently due to slight knee pain and discomfort I've stopped running. The pain persists even after a week of rest. The pain is slow, dull and feels a bit hot on the kneecap. I'm taking calcium tabs, vit d tabs and doing knee physio. Any diagnosis based on the above info will be appreciated. I'll anyways be visiting a doctor next week when I return back to town. Any guidelines, help would be appreciated

It may be due to patellar maltracking. VMO exercises might be helpful But need further evaluation

Stop running on treadmill. A treadmill as it is, is not good for your knees. Either run in grass or on a cross trainer
Next Steps
Review in clinic
