Jaw position can't be changed by simple orthodontic treatment..They are correcting the actual cause for ur TMJ disorder ( mal alignment of ur teeth)

It's quite possible that your Jaw problem was due to malaligned teeth. Now once tmj problem is gone, they are correcting the root cause of your tmj problem

You might be needing orthodontic treatment..... it has got nothing to do with the splint ... unless ur tooth position is grossly wrong ...
