Itching in pregnancy
Hi, i have severe itching in abdomen area thats where i have stretch marks, i have consulted dermatologist he gave me ointments but its not so effective as he said he cannot give me steroids at this stage as i am in 3rd trimester and also  sometimes i have  a bit of palm itchiness only on one hand( not intense), due to which i waa doubtful for cholestosis in pregnancy so i checked my bile acid level and liver function test my bile acid states 1.2 level is there something to worry about? Although it shows within range my gynaecologist said its a bit high but i find it in observed value as attached in pictures . I am not sure if she checked my reports properly. Pls can someone guide. I have attached the pics of liver function test and bile acid level as well. Thanks a lot in advamce :)

You have cholestasis of pregnancy. If you have such great doubts about your gynec, change her. Do not question them at every step. Her treatment is absolutely correct.
