(Ist pregnancy) I'm 29 week pregnant with cervical cerclage done at 23 week.. I have itching in my whole body specially in palms and sole .. i've seen many videos saying it could be a symptom of icp but my doctor only prescribed me a calamine lotion without doing any test .. should i get a second opinion??

Yes, you should insist on tests. Itching specifically on palms and soles in pregnancy is a classic warning sign of ICP (Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy) â this needs to be ruled out urgently. Get LFTs and serum bile acids done. ICP can be harmful to the baby if untreated. Calamine alone is not enough without a proper diagnosis.
