Issues with breastfeeding
My baby is almost two months now but still takes 20-25 mins to breastfeed. I can't make her latch properly. I feel she doesn't suck and remove milk effectively sometimes. She's gaining 140gms per week and has 8+ wet nappies everyday. Should I be worried? I don't know if my milk is sufficient for my baby. Also my milk supply takes around 3 hours to fully feed.

The weight gain corresponds to normal. If after every feed baby sleeps 2-3 hrs & passes urine 6-7 times a day it means adequate milk supply only.

Weight gain is just adequate. Child can gain 150 to 200gm in a week. Urine frequency is adequate. Breastfeeding has an emotional attachment, it's related to hormones. To increase milk supply: -Take more liquids -Wholesome home made food -Sleep for 6 to 8 hours -And most important not to take stress or be anxious otherwise milk supply will be affected If child is taking feeds one in 3 or 4 hours, it is okay. Need not to give in every 2 hours now.
