Breastfeeding to 20 days old baby
Hi , my baby boy is 20 days old. I am feeding him 8 to 10 times in 24 hr. His pee count is 8 to 10. But I am not feeling my breast heavy. Is this means i have low milk supply. How to know baby is getting enough milk. What should I eat to increase milk quality?

The baby should gain adequate weight (20-30g / day) and pass urine more than 6 times a day. Feed your baby on cues (sucking movements, eye movements, lip smacking, soft cooing sounds)..You can have periodic visits to your pediatrician to assess weight gain.
The mother need to have wholesome nutritive diet . Breast/ back massage, playing/touching the child with positive emotions can help with increasing the amount of milk. Avoid stress .
