Issue after brisk walking
I feel slight dizzy and tired after doing brisk walking.. I am a BP patient and I am taking Metosartan 50. Will this medicine cause low BP? I need to understand it's root cause. Checked BP when I felt dizzy and tired and bp was 114/74. Could anyone please help?

No drug does not lower bp The reading you stated is normal Take glucon d powder if not diabetic also ORS powder

Whenever u do exercise excessive it will increase your bp then when u take rest because of feedback mechanism ur bp will fall down nd u will have  dizziness. It could be due to metoprolol  also. U can take my help if needed we may change drug or modify dose.

Your BP was normal when you felt dizzy so it is most likely not due to your blood pressure. Keep monitoring your BP when you feel dizzy. If it is not related to it then we need to think about other reasons which can be a deficiency as well. A proper history can eliminate a number of causes. Consult at your convenience.

prepare a strict bp chart of 3 days..then we can plan tapering the dose
