Is surgery a must?
I had a muscle pull which lead to pain however it was recurring of which I assumed to be a sprain however due to prolonged pain I was advised to get the MRI Scan done which concluded Avascular Necrosis grade 2. I consulted two family orthopaedic doctors out of them one advised core decompression is the only resort and the other advised treatment with injection and tablets for a certain period of time and additional tests to be carried out before that. Can this be treated without core decompression? Can this be treated with the injections will it not worsen the condition? I'm attaching the reports for reference. Your opinion on this would be highly appreciated and be of great help.
