Is it normal for veins to swell in anus
Is it normal body behaviour for the veins around anus to swell while having a bowel movement and then recede to normal after bowel movement after a while or is it a symptom of piles.

Do you have any painless bleeding episodes ??? Any history of hard stool passage or constipation ?? That can be a mucosal prolapse or enlarged hemorrhoidal tissue It needs examination to confirm But as such if there are no bleeding episodes you need not worry You can try to soften the stool by laxatives like duphalac and take high fiber diets with plenty of fluids This will spontaneously resolve any grade 1 haemorrhoids
