CRP can't be interpreted in isolation. It has to be interpreted with the physical examination of the patient.

Crp test only indicates an inflammatory response and does not provide further information on cause of the inflammation. If only cough, cold and sore throat are present then, steam inhalation 2-3 times a day, warm salt water gargles and drinking warm water for the next 3-4 days should be sufficient. If other complaints are there or symptoms do not get better in the next 3 days kindly consult for a detailed discussion and plan of care. Regarding Vitamin D, in general Indians have a low vitamin D levels. Vitamin D supplements in the form of tablets taken once a week or once a day for a few weeks are available, but not always necessary to take.
Next Steps
if only cold, cough and sore throat: steam inhalation 2-3 times (plain water) warm salt water gargles 2-3 times a day warm water for drinking
Health Tips
avoid cold drinks, cold food, ice cream and outside food for 3-4 days (even after you feel better since the body needs to build up the immunity again)

Crp is not specific.it will be high in any inflammation or infection. Your vitamin D is low and you need supplementation.60000 units weekly once for 2 months.
Next Steps
repeat vit D test after 2 months
