Cats can transmit Rabies.  The saliva of cat may have other bacteria and viruses also.

It’s better to be on safe side, take Inj Tetanus and Inj Antirabies. Its not gng to harm u, but its safest way.

Yes it can be dangerous depending on category of wound. So, it is necessary to take Anti Rabies injection and tetanus injection also(same for dog bite also).
Next Steps
visit nearest govt hospital(PHC/CHC etc) and consult the doctor for doses and antibiotics if needed.

Antibiotics and antirabies vaccine is required.. Visit to your nearest hospital for local wound examination.. Kindly don't ignore.. It can be fatal..
