Irritation with betadine gargle
Few days ago I started feeling pain near my wisdom tooth I thought it's swollen gum problem so I used salt water gargle.....The problem got severe next day so I visited the local dentist.....He said I have severe infection near my wisdom teeth and prescribed me and antibiotic and painkiller......He gave be betadine ( povidone iodine 2% ) solution to gargel 2 time a day Now the problem is whenever I gargel with the solution I feel irritation in mouth after that....... Is it ok to feel such irita

Hello you  can discontinue  it and go for the wisdom  tooth  treatment s as you  may  not  required  any medication  further.

If you are not comfortable with iodine then use chlorohexidine 0.2%
