Irregular periods

I have a very regular cycle of periods but from last month its getting irregular .last month I had my periods earlier which lasted for 10 days bt in my case it usually lasts 5 days. And now it's been hardly 11-12 days nd I got my periods again. I wanna know is it because of stress or there is something I should be concerned about.

Before attributing it to stress which is quite unlikely you need investigations to find out the reason for this abnormal bleeding
Bleeding that lasts for more than 7 days or any period that comes before 21 days is not a normal
