Dear doctor,
May I start taking novelon hormone therapy pills to treat irregular periods as I'm facing menstruation cycle at least 2 times in a month from last 1 year.Rather,kindly suggest some better measures to cure hormonal imbalance.

Please get a sonography of the lower abdomen done. We should first exclude a physical problem before we start hormone (pills) therapy.

U first need an ultrasound to find out the reason fr irregular period
Also get ur Thyroid n prolactin levels checked

There could be many causes for irregular cycles... You need to be evaluated for the same before starting any kind of treatment. Don't rush to take hormonal therapy without proper evaluation as this could lead to other complications and side effects.

Best to consult a gynecologist to get evaluated and treated accordingly. You should not be neglecting this as you are losing more blood than normal and this could lead to anaemia and other health related problems. Donot neglect and get treated.
