1. Learn To Change Your Thinking Anxiety manifests itself within our heads. Two people can go through the same situation, and one can handle it well while another one crumbles under the weight of anxiety. This is for no other reason than the one person knows how to control their thinking, so their anxiety doesn't overcome them. 2.Use Deep Breathing Deep breathing is another effective way to relieve stress and anxiety. It helps you with physical symptoms such as shallow breathing and rapid heart rate, and it also helps with controlling your thoughts. When you practice deep breathing, you're forced to take your thoughts off of whatever is causing you anxiety and to focus on the breathing technique that you are using. 3.Address Whatever Is Causing Your Anxiety If you're anxious because Tax Day is rolling around and you haven't completed your taxes yet, the simple solution is to do your taxes. We often cause ourselves anxiety by delaying things that we could do. It's often the fear of what we think the outcome could be that causes us to procrastinate. However, many times, the actual result is not as bad as we anticipated. 4.De clutter Your House : Having a messy and cluttered house can be reflecting what our brains feel like. And, taking the time to clean things up and get rid of things that we don't need can be a good way to clear our heads as well.If you often experience stress and anxiety because you can't find what you're looking for or you're running late because you're not organized, this can do a lot in helping you to make progress. 5. Use Essential Oils : Many people who struggle with anxiety have found that the use of essential oils can help them clear their head, feel better, and get better rest. There are many different types of oils that you can try. There have been many studies done showing the effectiveness of citrus oil on improving your mood and helping with anxiety and depression. The scent molecules in citrus oils are small enough that they're able to penetrate the brain blood barrier, which means there's scientific reasoning on why this is effective.

Hello. The anxiety panic attacks that you are having will settle down in 1-2 weeks. Give it time. If they don't, sertraline dose can be increased easily. Do keep in touch with a psychiatrist.

Hi, we will need to confirm the diagnosis first whether it's obsessive compulsive disorder or another anxiety disorder. In my opinion Sertraline 25 mg is low dose and unlikely to bring much benefit. However a more accurate advice can be given only after knowing specifics of the case. In any case, medications will take at least 2-3 weeks to help in depression or obsessions.
