Intense calf pain
My wife is having calf pain issues in both legs for  quite a few years.She feels intense pain in calf when sleeping. It occurs regularly. What type of specilaist doctor should we see? We are not taking below medicines for calf muscle pain treatment.It is part of pregnancy medicine. She delivered baby 3 months back Currently she is taking shelcal 500 and livogen z.

That is called cramp in calf muscles. Vit d3 DEFICIENCy in first instance. UpriseD 60 000iu once per week or when ever required for eight weeks followed by one per month for six months. Continue medication prescribed.

After the delivery,the phase is called post partum which is a high risk time for development of clots in legs, they are called DVT. She needs to be seen by a General Physician and probably requires a Doppler scan of her legs.
