Virtually every sedative or hypnotic is contraindicated in pregnancy but it is often used in cases of hypertension in pregnancy, especially preeclampsia. Please consult with your Gynaecologist regarding pros and cons of using sedatives during pregnancy . (It seems you have framed your question after a lot of homework and research).
