Insomnia since 3 years
My father who is 78 years is deprived of sleep during the last 3 years . Earlier he used to sleep well during he day but now hes suffering from loss of sleep both during day and night . He has COPD ,taking AIRZ(evening) and foracort rotacaps (morning). No other medical conditions. Can we start nitrest5mg for him for night time sleep?

Hello,
Any sleeping medication you will start will have short term effect. You should rather focus on sleep hygiene practices.
As your father has chronic insomnia... He will be benefited by sleep hygiene rather than medication.
